Grandkids.com was born out of MemoirGhostwriting.com, a company that writes memoirs for celebrities, politicians, and others. Both companies were founded by Luke Palder, a Yale graduate who has—between Grandkids.com, MemoirGhostwriting.com, and his other publishing venture of many years, ProofreadingServices.com—helped thousands of people publish their work. Luke has two kids and wanted to capture their grandparents’ life stories for himself and his sons. He thought long and hard about how to offer a memoir ghostwriting service that doesn’t cost $75,000 to $125,000 (what a typical ghostwritten memoir costs), and Grandkids.com was born.
